Please congratulate the following students on their Regional County Science Fair awards they received on Feb, 8, 2011.

6th grade students

1.       Hannah Blevins—2nd place –Chemistry

7th grade students

1.       Tyler Bittner—2nd place—Engineering  ( also won a special Broadcom award and is going on to another competition)

2.       Lauren LaPeter—2nd place—Physics  ( plus a special award for scoring in the top 10 % of the fair)

3.       Mallory Stewart Robinson—3rd place- Chemistry ( also won a special  environmental “Green” award)

4.      Ataken Cocen—4th place—Botany

5.      Malcolm Butler—4th place -Chemistry

On Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, 12 Bay Point Band students were at Gibbs High School performing
solos, for judges, throughout the day.
